1975- 1979 Professional Management Company, Partner and Co-Owner
of hotel management firm. Director of Operation for 15 Full Service
Franchised Hotels including Ramada Inns, Sheratons, and Hiltons.
Also, as the managing agent supervised the operation of three Intermediate
Care Facilities located in Texas, Oklahoma, and California. We
grew this company to 25 hotels under management. During this period
we opened 10 National Franchised Hotels. We developed a pre-opening
management contract which proved to be very successful in hotel
industry.
1979-1984 Allen & Associates, Inc., President and
majority stockholder of firm. During this period developed, built
and managed
7 multi-family apartment projects. These Limited Partnerships projects
were syndicated and financed through Farmers Home Administration
and Department of Housing & Urban Development. We were the
managing agent for 30 subsidized apartment projects located in
the State of Mississippi and Tennessee. We became the largest managing
agent for subsidized housing projects in the State of Mississippi.
1985-1991
General partner of several Limited Partners that developed, built
and
Managed Days Inns and Best Westerns in Mississippi and Tennessee.
Our primary objective was to develop and sale these hotels.
1991-1995
Mid South Hotel Brokers, Affiliate Brokers with hotel brokerage
firm. In
1995 I was the Top Salesman for Hotel and Motel Brokers of America
in the South Central Region of The United States. I was the second
highest producer in the Nation as an affiliate broker selling 10
hotels with a transaction volume of $31,000,000. The number one
producer sold 11 hotels. 1995-Present Sunbelt Hotel Brokers, LLC,
Chief Manager of a Hotel Brokerage Firm specializing in the sale
of hotels. Sunbelt is licensed
as a real estate broker in the states of Alabama, Arkansas, Mississippi,
and Tennessee. Additionally, we have affiliations throught the
United States. In 1999 Hotel Business Green Book listed Sunbelt
hotels Brokers in the top 20 Hotel Brokerage Firms in the Nation.
